Fun With Wesley
I spent some time with Wesley and his family last week. He's been pretending for quite a long time. His parents really play with him and it's quite a lot of fun.
Dancing With Wesley
Today Wesley and I were showing our dance moves. I asked Wesley if he could dance the "Wiggle Your Ears" dance. I moved my earlobes with my fingers.
A Real Sweetheart
Wesley is really growing up. I love being around him. You can see the thought process he is experiencing when you look at him. He's very intuitive, and still taking in the world. He doesn't say a lot, but he sure knows a lot.
Happy 18 Month Birthday to Wesley!
Thinking of you today, and remembering the day you were born. What a delight you are, Wes! We love every minute of enjoying your sweet smile. We hope you've had a special day today.
Creative Play
All the new photos of Wes are delightful to see. I loved the series on Wes' Taxi Service and the one where he's lying on his blanket on the floor in his room! His Mommy told me he worked for some time to get that blanket through the bars of his crib and must have needed a little rest when he'd managed it! You can almost see the wheels turning in his head when he's concentrating.
Wes' First Christmas
Wes and his family shared his first Christmas at the lake house. Wes woke at 8a.m. and the fun began. He checked out what Santa had left in his Christmas stocking and then helped to open all his gifts.
Wes Is A Charmer!
We've just returned home from a wonderful visit with Wes and his parents. What a charmer our Wesley is! He has a beautiful smile when he sees you. We were all working with him to wave and to clap his hands.
Happy 4 Month Birthday, Wesley!
What a lot of things you've mastered in 4 months time! Gramps and I are really looking forward to our next chance to share some of these new things with you. We hope you and your parents have fun toda
I'm Smitten
Having spent three days with Anna and Wes and a brief time with David, I have to admit to being smitten with Wes. He's changed so much in our absence. But what a little charmer! I do love his smiles and the way he looks at me when I talk to him! He is so alert and responsive.
Taking Some Good Memories With Us!
Gramps and I must leave for our home today. We've been receiving many thanks for helping here, but we have a couple of thank you's of our own to share. We thank Wes' Mommy and Daddy for so graciously accepting whatever help we were able to give. It takes a special couple to have people, even or especially if they are related, into their home for 23 days. We've been so harmoniously integrated into the fold! We'd especially like to thank them for allowing us to share Wesley each of his first 22 days, from a few minutes from his birth, through his coming home.
